    • Slower than the Rumba, the Bolero is a very romantic dance incorporating some of the rise and fall seen in Ballroom dances into the rhythmic hip and body movements of Latin dance.

  • Samba
    • An energetic Brazilian dance known for its syncopated rhythms and lively, upbeat music.

  • Salsa
    • A very popular street dance combining elements of Afro-Cuban rhythms with American Jazz. There are many different types of salsa danced all over the world today, from L.A. style to mambo on 2.

  • Mambo
    • The origin of modern Cha cha and Salsa. A fast latin dance with an emphasis on the 2nd and 4th beat.

  • Merengue
    • An easy party dance with a marching beat. It is one of the simplest dances to learn and lots of fun at parties!

  • Bachata
    • A slow and sexy dance often danced in Salsa clubs. There are several styles of bachata with the dominant two being Sensual (emphasizing body movements) and Domanican (emphasizing footwork).

    • Made popular by the Disco generation and movies such as "Saturday Night Fever". It is fast and upbeat!
